SHAYTAN "Chapter One" album details.
The third of our December 15th releases is "Chapter One", the debut album of SHAYTAN. This German band, previously known as DEMON INCARNATE (before they changed the vocalist last year), delivers raw, no-nonsense traditional doom metal, dwelling mostly in mid tempos with some slowdowns and accelerations. Their riffs are heavy and the songs are replete with captivating choruses, often enriched with oriental influences. There's not a single dull moment on this album, and the warm production rounds it up perfectly. Instead taking our word for it though, you should definitely go and check it out by yourselves, especially if you're into bands such as TROUBLE, NOMAD SON, KRUX, CANDLEMASS, ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA, FAMYNE, GRIEF COLLECTOR (on whose second album you can actually hear the current SHAYTAN vocalist), SOLITUDE AETURNUS, THE SKULL and THE OBSESSED. Doom or be doomed!
A week ago we uploaded a music video for the "Shaytan" song to our YouTube channel, and now we've added also a static clip for "Salting the Earth" here. Both of these songs plus a third one, "Tabula Rasa" are available for streaming in the Bandcamp player on the SHAYTAN page as well. The complete CD track listing is as follows:
2. Salting the Earth
3. Speaking in Tongues
4. Tabula Rasa
5. The Sleepless Eye
6. Darvaza
7. Embers Glow
8. Diaspora
9. Samsara

You can find more info about "Chapter One" and see the high-res cover on the page of this release.
The CD is available now from our SHOP page, also in a bundle with the other two new releases (ELS FOCS NEGRES "Martiris Carnívors: Himnes per a un Nou Apocalipsi" and STUKA SQUADRON "Zeppelin") as well as in a 5-CD bundle with the other 2023 releases (so additionally with KINGDOM OF TYRANTS "Architects of Power" and ARKHAM WITCH "Beer and Bullet Belts"). Since the release date is upon us and the postal services are always mega slow in this period, until December 31st we're offering a free digital download for all three albums to anyone who orders these CDs, and, exclusively for our newsletter subscribers, also an extra free CD of their choice if they order one of the two bundles with the new releases.
The album can be ordered also as digital download (in lossless formats) from our Bandcamp page. It will be also distributed digitally and made available from iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Music, Spotify and other retailers and services.
