They excel at shifting gears, and whether they are charging at full tilt or settling into a gritty mid-tempo swagger, the energy remains unrestrained. With metal, blasphemy and lust on their minds, and with every raspy shout and distorted riff, these maniacs send a middle finger to the sacred and a salute to the profane. They are the new torchbearers of the ancient flame, and keeping metal dangerous (as it should be!) is their mission. This is music from street demons for street demons who prefer their metal raw, earthy and covered in filth. BIOGRAPHY:
STRIKEHAMMER was born in Italy in 2023 from the ashes of the band SURGE ASSAULT, when the guitarist Wild Warrior (ex-VERGINE STUPRATA) and the bass player Terrifikant (MOTHER AUGUSTA, TULPA, ex-SATAN IMPERII) decided to continue along the same filthy, alcoholic and blasphemous path. Wild Warrior took over also the vocal duties in the new band, and the same year, together with Jöschu Käser as a session drummer, they recorded a five-track EP "Chaotic Spell" - an evil fist of black speed metal with rough rock'n'roll attitude.

Not long after that, drummer Akira (VEXOVOID, ex-HUMAN DECAY) joined, and the band began an intense live season all around Italy, sharing the stage with HELLRIPPER, SKANNERS, BARBARIAN, GAME OVER, WITCHUNTER, BLACK OATH, INCHIUVATU, TULPA, LOCULO, BLACK ANCESTRY, TYTUS, HORROR VACUI, and many more at various events over the next years.

Still in December of 2023, the band caught the attention of Metal on Metal Records when they played in Florence together with BARBARIAN. After seeing another show of STRIKEHAMMER (once more with this Florence-based speed/black/thrash trio) in Viareggio in May 2024, the label was completely convinced to offer them a deal.

It took some more months for their first full-length to be completed, and finally, in the summer of 2025, the band entered the studio to record it. The album was mixed and mastered by Tommaso "MasoDesekrator" Volpe (BLACK OATH, MACABRO GENOCIDIO, THE RITE, FUNEST, VOMITVULVA, ex-MORBUS GRAVE...) in Macabro Bunker Recordings studio.

"Midnight Inferno" was released on January 23rd, which coincided with yet another show with STRIKEHAMMER's brothers in arms, BARBARIAN, in Florence. Get ready for pure distillation of blasphemic speed black'n'roll mayhem!
