IN AEVUM AGERE "Ptolomea - Canto XXXIII" album info.

The fifth full-length offering of the Italian epic doom metal trio IN AEVUM AGERE "Ptolomea - Canto XXXIII" will see the light of day on April 24th at the Keep It True festival.

The band's mastermind Bruno Masulli has created yet another album inspired directly by Dante's "Divine Comedy", thus extending this ambitious concept into a quadrilogy. This time, apart from visions of Hell, the lyrics explore the trials of Purgatory and culminate in the ascent into the light. Expect crushing doom with sophisticated, intricate shredding, thunderous double bass drumming verging on thrash, and powerful, clear vocals that breathe life into Dante's verses with dramatic grandeur. This album will undoubtedly resonate with the faithful followers of CANDLEMASS, SOLITUDE AETURNUS, BELOW, SORCERER, MEMENTO MORI, FORSAKEN, EVANGELIST, THUNDERSTORM, PROCESSION and CRYPT SERMON.

We've uploaded two songs from this album on our YouTube channel: "The Avaricious and the Prodigal" here and "In Purgatorio" here. And from the Bandcamp player on the IN AEVUM AGERE page, you can check also a third song, "Empireo". The full album track list is as follows:

2. The Avaricious and the Prodigal

4. Repentance (Antipurgatorio)
5. In Purgatorio
6. Mundus Moriens
