BITTER END, SKELATOR and MORTALICUM live!
BITTER END, the recently reunited Seattle-based technical thrashers, whose lost album "Have A Nice Death!" (originally recorded in 1991-1992) we released last July, will finally hit the stage! Their first show in 20 years will take place on July 14th in their hometown Seattle (WA) at the "Funhouse" club (check the page of the event here). The band keeps on rehearsing, getting ready for the event, however the band members have not been letting their fingers rust in the past years (guitarist Russ Stefanovich had been playing with MIDNIGHT IDOLS and currently shreds in his new band DEMON DOGS, while guitarist and vocalist Matt Fox plays in ZERO DOWN). The support act will be their label-mates SKELATOR.
The US Epic Heavy/Speed Metal warriors, SKELATOR have also been confirmed for the 3rd edition of METAL ASSAULT festival that will take place on February 2nd 2013 in Würzburg, Germany. The festival is organized by Oliver Weinsheimer, who is also the organizer of the biggest underground metal festival Keep It True. So far the only other confirmed act for Metal Assault III is ATTACKER (US Power Metal legends from New Jersey).
Finally, Swedish doomsters MORTALICUM have been confirmed for the 4th edition of prestigious MALTA DOOM METAL festival (check the page of the event here), that will take place on November 2nd and 3rd on this Mediterranean island. They will share the stage with a plethora of national and international Doom Metal bands, including the recently reformed SORCERER (Sweden), DAWN OF WINTER (Germany), THE BLACK (Italy), SEMLAH (Sweden), FORSAKEN (Malta), HOODED PRIEST (Netherlands), CHILDREN OF DOOM (France), IRON VOID (UK) and FOREST STREAM (Russia), to name but a few.
