IGNITOR "The Golden Age of Black Magick" details and pre-order.
The 7th album of the Austin, Texas metal titans IGNITOR "The Golden Age of Black Magick" will be released this Halloween, together with the new albums of CHAINBREÄKER, HELLSPIKE, LEGIONEM and VOMIT DIVISION. The new anthems sound classic and aggressive, and possess this special magic that marked most of the US power and heavy metal created during its golden age. It's an intense album with rampaging riffs, infectious melodies, high-pitched, unpolished vocals by the veteran of the scene Jason McMaster, and a dark edge that should appeal to the fans of bands like ATTACKER, DIO, RIOT, SKULLVIEW, ASKA, CAGE, RAINBOW, IRON MAIDEN, PHANTOM-X, JAG PANZER and JUDAS PRIEST.
You can check two new songs on our YouTube channel (the title track released almost 3 weeks ago as a video clip and "Stoned at the Acropolis" here) or from the Bandcamp player on the IGNITOR page, where we put also a third song, "Secrets of the Ram". This is the album track list:
2. Countess Apollyon
3. The Golden Age of Black Magick
4. Hell Shall Be Your Home
5. Tonight We Ride
6. Steel Flesh Bone
7. Execution Without Trial
8. Stoned at the Acropolis
(Cover art by Jowita Kaminska-Peruzzi)
You can find more info about "The Golden Age of Black Magick" and see the high-res cover on the page of this release.
The CD can be pre-ordered until Monday, October 26th, 11:00 PM Central European Time (UTC+1) from our SHOP page. As always, you can buy it in a convenient bundle with the other new releases (in this case with other four, saving 12,00 Euro), but also in a bundle with one of the two previous releases of the band, "Year of the Metal Tiger" or "Haunted by Rock & Roll", which are available separately as well. You can add to it also the new compilation CD "Compendium of Metal Vol. 13". We have set and will keep the German shipping rates in the shop during this week. Thanks to this, you can buy many more items for the same low shipping cost, which is particularly convenient for orders from outside of Europe and from Germany, and have them shipped as priority mail. Only orders from Italy and Australia will be shipped from Italy (as goods shipment to Australia is still not possible from Germany due to the pandemic-related transport problems).
And, as always, those who don't collect CDs can pre-order the album as digital download (in lossless formats) from our Bandcamp page. Later on, it will be distributed digitally by CD Baby and made available from iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Music, Spotify and other retailers and services.
