SPACE GOD RITUAL "The Unknown Wants You Dead!" details.
The third and last one of our July 25th / Headbangers Open Air festival releases is from the band which we've signed most recently, SPACE GOD RITUAL. We simply couldn't resist their ancient hymns to tyrant gods and added their new album, "The Unknown Wants You Dead!", to our 2019 release plan in spite of normally not doing it after we finalize the annual schedules. This Lovecraftian proto-doom metal band from Portland, Oregon, really stands out thanks to using some orchestrations that bring to mind old horror movie soundracks and thanks to the extra weirdness and theatricality in the vocals. It will no doubt appeal to fans of THE LAMP OF THOTH, ARKHAM WITCH, PENTAGRAM, BLACK SABBATH, HELL, BRITON RITES and LUCIFER'S FALL.
