IN AEVUM AGERE signs with MOMR.

We're happy to welcome to our family one of Italy's finest - IN AEVUM AGERE. We're very picky in general, but when it comes to doom metal, we're exceptionally picky. There are plenty of bands which are put in the doom category that are either unlistenable or just boring for us - many of them, represent styles like sludge, drone or stoner, but even in the classic doom style it's easy to find bands that can bore you to death. So whenever we find a really solid doom metal band, they have our full attention. In the case of these Italians, we actually saw their name mentioned in the review of NOMAD SON's debut album in a 2008 issue of German "Heavy" magazine. We checked their 2007 demo and we've been fans since then, having also seen them live several times over the years. They follow in the footsteps of the epic doom metal forefathers (CANDLEMASS and SOLITUDE AETURNUS), but the founder/guitarist/vocalist, Bruno Masulli, is also a big fan of Chuck Schuldiner, which you can clearly hear in his guitar parts.

The band's second full-length album "Canto III" will be released on April 26th, at the Keep It True festival.

In the meantime, go to the IN AEVUM AGERE page to read the band's biography, check their disography etc.
