STONEGRIFF "Come Taste the Blood" album details and pre-order.
It's time to announce our April releases, to be out as always at the Keep It True festival, which is on April 24th this year. The first one of them, STONEGRIFF "Come Taste the Blood" is the 2nd album of this Swedish traditional doom metal band, and the 2nd CD we're releasing for them. They keep on following in the genre's forefathers' footsteps, delivering pure, old school and quite straightforward doom metal - it's the best example where less is more and simplicity works. The vocals are particularly noteworthy here, ranging from raspy to clean and somberly bewitching mid-range, to high pitched wails and screams, which have been toned down a bit, appearing just when they're needed most. Fans of KRUX, BLACK SABBATH, CANDLEMASS, PENTAGRAM, SPIRITUS MORTIS, IRON MAN, LAS CRUCES and NOMAD SON should take note!
