AFTER OBLIVION "Stamina" album details and pre-order.
"Stamina", the debut album of the tech death/thrash act from Bosnia and Herzegovina AFTER OBLIVION, will be released on November 9th at the Hammer Of Doom festival. Some people will probably dismiss this band saying that they're just copycats of DEATH, as indeed, the resemblance to Chuck Schuldiner's later works is striking. However originality is never the most important thing for us when it comes to music: it's the passion and talent of the musicians that counts more for us. After all, we're all about traditional/old school metal which is not a style which leaves much field for experimentation. What's most important is that the bands play the music they feel and would like to listen to themselves, and that it's equally enjoyable for us. Besides, considering the fact that sadly there won't be any more DEATH albums, and that there are very few bands that tried and succeeded to harness their peculiar '90s sound, a band that continues Chuck's legacy is very welcome in the scene, in our opinion.
